One day, a cat pawrent's kitties looked at their owner in the eye, then at the door to his apartment hallway, and then darted under the bed to hide. If there's one thing pawrents adopt from their cats, it's curiosity. So, the owner goes to the door and opens it, and finds a wall of black smoke. He then begins to gather his felines and alert everyone in the building.
